SEMAP Information

Annually, the BHA must complete a SEMAP (Section Eight Management Assessment Program) certification based on fourteen (14) Key Performance Indicators. |
|
Based on the certification and PIC data, HUD will assign the BHA a rating. |
|
The start of the fiscal year begins at the start of the year (October 1, for the BHA). |
|
At the end of the fiscal year (September 30), the BHA is scored for the previous fiscal year. Below are the Key Performance Indicators and their point value: |

At this time the BHA is not reporting on Indicator 14, however in the near future we will be required to do so. |

Currently, there is a possible one hundred and thirty-five (135) points the BHA can attain. |
|
For fiscal year 2006 we had one hundred and thirty (130) points; which translates to 96%. A score of 90% or higher is required to achieve “high performer” status. |
